The 2023 edition of Husqvarna’s flagship FS450 adds another chapter to their legacy in the supermoto arena. Designed and developed to push performance beyond what riders thought possible, the list of new features is extensive.
At first glance you can’t help being struck by the distinctive grey and yellow graphics. On the startline the bike will stand out, but it’s what’s under the fairing that’ll have true supermoto diehards checking their bank balance.
The brand new 450cc SOHC 4-stroke engine can be fine-tuned using the updated map select switch mounted on the ProTaper handlebars.
Riders can fully customise their experience by controlling the activation of launch control, traction control, and the new Quickshifter, which ensures seamless upshifts, all from the handlebbars.
The new polyamide-reinforced aluminium subframe improves handling and ensures comfort on those tricky transitions from tarmac to dirt. A suspension upgrade and some recentering of the vital componentry brings the ride comfort up another notch.
