Aboard his FC 450 Rockstar Edition, Osborne has been unstoppable this season. In spite of the many trials and tribulations of the year, Osborne has persevered with laser-sharp focus and dedication throughout the season.
Heading into the weekend at Pala, California, with a strong 24-point lead, Osborne accelerated hard off the line in Moto 1, securing the holeshot and settling into a top-three position early in the race. Osborne held his ground but didn’t push the limits too far, ultimately coming away with a very respectable top-five finish in Moto 1. In the second Moto, Osborne bagged himself a top-five start, keeping it nice and steady throughout and finishing up in seventh place, leaving plenty of breathing room to bring home the championship.

Following his victory, Zach Osborne had this to say: “I considered actually retiring in March after I broke my back and my wife gave me a pep talk and we decided against it, went to Salt Lake and that went well and it just carried into this outdoor season. I came out swinging and was able to take home a national championship which is something I never ever dreamed of doing, I felt it was way out of my league – so dream big is the moral of the story and don’t ever give up. Find people that believe in you even when you don’t and keep pressing on. It’s such a relief to win this today. What an incredible day. Thank you to everyone who has been behind me.”
